What to Expect

  • I approach my work from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, systemic, intersectional and developmental lens.

  • I believe there are social, economic and environmental factors that comprise you and your identities and are interacting in multiple ways that impact your mental health.

  • In session I will use an integrative perspective pulling from somatic, narrative, cognitive behavioural, solution focused and motivational interviewing frameworks.

  • When working together you will be met with a warm, safe and non-judgmental space to explore and understand your experiences and examine the various factors that impact you.

  • I will be intentional to create a relationship built on safety, trust and hope so you feel accepted and challenged in new and meaningful ways.

  • Together we will walk through your fears, challenges and hurts and build new understandings and awareness to help diminish pain and suffering and cope with the challenges of life.

  • You will develop the skills and tools to lead a fulfilling life and experience increased joy, purpose and self-acceptance.
